SERVICES

County Area General Public Dial-A-Ride (GP-DAR) - Service Description

San Joaquin Regional Transit District (RTD) offers General Public Dial-A-Ride (GP-DAR) curb-to-curb service for residents of San Joaquin County. GP DAR serves the rural areas of San Joaquin County.

The service area includes all of the San Joaquin County, including Ripon, Escalon, Thornton, Lockeford and Linden. Zones have been established to assure accessibility to basic services such as shopping, public hospitals and connections to Metro (Stockton Metropolitan Area) and Intercity fixed routes.

For RTD's North County Ride service, click here.

Trips outside of the Stockton Metropolitan Area must be taken using the existing transit services in those areas during local hours of operation. This includes transit services for trips within the cities of Lodi, Tracy, Manteca, Lathrop, Escalon and Ripon.

This service also serves as the complementary ADA paratransit service for RTD’s Intercity and rural fixed route services. For ADA certification information, click here.
