San Joaquin Commuter - Description Route 174 - Mountain View/Palo Alto

The Mountain View/Palo Alto subscription bus serves commuters traveling from Stockton, Manteca, and Tracy to multiple employer locations in the Mountain View and Palo Alto areas. These employers include Space Systems Loral, Sun Microsystems and Acuson. The bus begins dropping off passengers in Mountain View at 5:42 a.m., its last drop-off is in Palo Alto at 5:52 a.m. In the afternoon, the first pick-up is in Palo Alto at 2:30 p.m. and the last pick-up is in Mountain View at 2:42 p.m. This bus connects with Valley Transit Authority (VTA) bus stops.

Reservations for monthly or daily passes must be made in advance.

Monthly Fare from Stockton: $153

Monthly Fare from Manteca: $147

Monthly Fare from Tracy: $135

Daily Fare: $11 per day round-trip or one-way.
