ROUTE 177 Santa Clara / San Jose
On July 19, 2011, San Joaquin RTD’s Board of Directors approved the elimination of seven (7) Commuter Service Routes and the introduction of Route 150, effective September 6, 2011. As a result of decreased transit funding and increased operating costs anticipated in Fiscal Year 2012, RTD must eliminate low-ridership routes for which customers have alternative service.
Alternative service to areas served by former Route 174 is provided by ACE Rail to San Jose and Santa Clara.
